These pictures will give you some idea of how to take a Strat apart.

Take off the strings. This guitar happens to have locking tuners.

Here the vibrato mechanism is exposed. It is grounded to the electrical system, so go grab your soldering iron.

Fender guitars have bolt-on necks. Just take out the screws and you have your guitar in haves.

Tada.

Put that screwdriver to work, unsolder the output jack, and you're done.

Look at all the crap routing in the middle pickup and the extra holes in the neck pocket. I'm not convinced this is a Fender body.

Add fire and repeat the process in reverse.

Freaking cool.
